Choosing the eJEST for fleets is a pledge to safety through groundbreaking battery chemistry. Eliminating cobalt from batteries significantly cuts costs and boosts sustainability. Cobalt is both expensive and ethically questionable in battery manufacturing. Li-ion batteries, recognized for their durability and eco-friendliness, supply efficient power, while advanced technology ensures fire-resistant cells and resistance to harsh weather conditions for a reliable and sustainable journey. LFP batteries are considered safer and have a lower risk of thermal runaway due to their excellent thermal stability, so eliminate thermal runaway risk with safe chemistries. LFP batteries generally have a longer cycle life, meaning they can endure more charge-discharge cycles without significant degradation.
eJEST easily charges itself through the charging socket in the front grill. eJEST, which can be charged with two types of AC and DC, can recharge its battery in as little as 1 hour 20 minutes.
During braking, eJEST regenerates up to 25% of the kinetic energy and charges it’s batteries. This increases eJEST’s range.
When integrating electric buses into your fleet, one of the pivotal factors to consider is their single-charge range. Karsan's eJEST addresses this challenge by implementing two regenerative modes that not only enhance operational efficiency but also significantly extend the bus's range on a single charge. We've already received favorable feedback regarding the regenerative braking system. Achieving maximum battery range is closely tied to driving behavior. When you skillfully combine control of the accelerator and brake pedals, regenerative braking proves to be a valuable feature, efficiently channeling excess energy back into the battery.
Although eJEST is battery powered, it is as powerful as diesel vehicles.
