Damera Corporation participated in the 61st Annual Fall Conference & Expo, held October 28–30, 2026, in Monterey, California. Organized by the California Transit Association in partnership with Monterey-Salinas Transit, the event brought together transit agency leaders, operators, fleet professionals and industry partners to explore the future of public transportation.
The conference featured general sessions, educational breakouts, an Expo Hall and networking opportunities focused on practical solutions for transit operations.
Damera Corporation showcased the fully electric, low-floor Karsan eJEST minibus, inviting attendees to explore how right-sized vehicles can support accessible, efficient transportation in communities, on campuses, and in shuttle and first- and last-mile services.
Compact and purpose-built for passenger transportation, the eJEST offers wheelchair accessibility, zero tailpipe emissions and a vehicle size suited to services where full-sized buses may not be the most effective fit.
Right-sized mobility can help agencies better match vehicle capacity to passenger demand and plan services around route characteristics, service frequency, fleet utilization and long-term operating costs. The best approach depends on local ridership patterns and operational requirements.
At the conference, Damera representatives met with transit professionals, including visitors from the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS), who enjoyed exploring the bus. Conversations offered opportunities to exchange perspectives on accessibility, practical electrification and potential collaboration.
Damera Corporation combines electric vehicle distribution with technical expertise, parts, maintenance services and after-sales support. As agencies evaluate fleet electrification, vehicle choice is only one part of planning for charging, training and dependable day-to-day service.
