Automation is transforming the future of manufacturing, enabling companies to produce higher-quality products more efficiently while strengthening supply chains and improving long-term competitiveness.
These are topics that closely align with Damera's own growth strategy. As we continue expanding our Canadian operations, we are investing in the development of engineering expertise, manufacturing capabilities, supplier partnerships, and resilient supply chains that will support the next generation of zero-emission transportation solutions.
On June 2, Damera Group participated in the Canadian Automation Leadership Summit (CALS26) in Toronto, where manufacturing executives, automation specialists, and technology leaders explored the trends shaping the future of Canadian industry.
Representing Damera Group, Sumit Chakraborty, CPA, CA, Group CFO, and Mandeep Singh attended the summit to exchange ideas with industry experts and explore how automation, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, workforce development, and advanced manufacturing can accelerate innovation across the transportation sector.

Hosted by Manufacturing AUTOMATION, the summit featured discussions on Canadian automotive manufacturing, workforce development, defence manufacturing opportunities, AI, and strategies for building more resilient and competitive manufacturing operations.
For Damera, the event reinforced an important message: building world-class mobility solutions requires much more than innovative vehicles. It depends on strong engineering capabilities, reliable supplier networks, modern manufacturing processes, and continuous investment in people and technology.
As Damera continues to grow its mobility ecosystem, these conversations help shape our long-term vision of developing sustainable manufacturing capabilities in Canada while delivering high-quality transportation solutions for customers across North America.
We thank the organizers and industry leaders for creating an excellent forum to exchange ideas and explore the future of Canadian manufacturing.
